Kawasaki is the only two-wheeler company that doesn’t offer a smaller capacity motorcycle internationally, but that could change soon. The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer announced two new models, the Ninja 125, at last year’s EICMA and said it would show face towards the end of 2019. And the specs of the bikes have now been uncovered by online magazine Bike Social. Here’s what we can expect from the two 125cc bikes from Kawasaki.

Kawasaki teased these 125 by posting images containing the silhouettes of the two, however, it turns out those were actually images of the existing Ninja 250 SL and Z250 SL single-cylinder models. Moreover, it was unclear whether the smaller capacity bikes would share the same platform with their elder siblings. While there’s no official word from Kawasaki, the spec-sheet of the 125cc bikes suggests that they will be heavily based on the 250cc singles.
